Statement: Telling the story of SLOW FLOW

Imagine The High Line to be a storyteller.
Imagine history to be unveiled by a story of a flow that became slow.

Today, The High Line is a silent monument reminiscent of more industrial days. Imagine the tracks and wildflowers covered only by a transparent walkway-material. An invisible layer added to history.
Imagine the new stories to be told in the city of New York.

As you raise yourself above the hectic pulse and eternal flow of the city you become part of an ongoing storytelling.
Each Access Point invites you to participate in the storytelling in a different way. It's a different story every time.
Imagine flow transformed into water, light and sound.

It's an interactive story of your movements. Your speed, change of pace, and pauses are registered by sensors. The Access Points are transformed by the tracking of your flow.

Imagine The High Line telling both the monumental Story of its own history, and everyday, ever-changing, and vaporous stories of the people of New York, its citizens and visitors.

Imagine The High Line to be a storyteller.
