How and to which extend do innovative, intelligent and high-tech materials contribute to the development of new products for a better life and a sounder environment? Are there examples for significant projects, where the choice of materials plays an essential role and leads to an improved quality of life and a sustainable development regarding environmental issues? In order to discuss this, the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen (Germany) together with the organisation committee of PROUD (People Researchers Organisations Using Design for innovation and co-creation) has selected Diffus Design as one of the the speakers for the seminar “Smart Materials for Design and Architecture” to be hold at the Red Dot Design Museum, Essen, tuesday, 3 July 2012 (10.00 a.m. – 4.15 p.m.)
The program is available here.
